WATER METERS / Multijet

Water meters using the multi-jet principle offer an excellent combination of performance, long life and cost. Wide clearances in the measuring chamber and negligible area of contact between static and moving parts are the main reasons for the high reliability of this design even in hard water. Arad multijet meters can be supplied fitted with electrical outputs for water treatment, process control, datalogging, remote displays or BMS use.

All our Multijet meters feature a completely sealed register capsule that eliminates condensation on the inside of the glass.

M Series Multijet Meters for cold water & MH Series Multijet Meters for hot water

  • Only one moving part - the impeller - in contact with the water for minimum wear and utmost reliability.
  • Magnetically driven sealed registers. Stainless steel/glass encapsulated option is unconditionally guaranteed against fogging.
  • Leak detecting visual indicator sensitive to the smallest flow
  • Wide selection of dial configurations (3 pointers; central pointer), units of measurements.
  • Electrical output options.
  • Standard M Series cold water meters will handle water up to 50ºC; for hot the MH Series can be used with water up to 90ºC.
  • Threaded water meters supplied complete with couplings (tails).
  • All M Series water meters WRAS approved.
Available Sizes
  • Model M - 1/2" - 2" (15mm - 50mm).
  • Model MH - 1/2" - 2" (15mm - 50mm).
Product Datasheets

The FAM (Flexible Axis Meter) is a new concept in the design and construction of water meters, revolutionising residential and commercial sub-metering. With a register that can be rotated through 360º the FAM can be fitted to pipework that is vertical, horizontal or any angle in between. This is intended to reduce installation costs making sub-metering possible where it was previously not cost effective.

FAM Series Multijet Meters

  • For faster and less expensive meter installation the FAM can be installed on pipework at any angle, the measuring chamber is always horizontal for maximum accuracy.
  • The FAM employs the multi-jet measurement principle, proven to offer the noiseless operation critical for sub-metering.
  • The ease of fitting means that sub-metering retrofits are now affordable in many previously impractical installations.
  • The use of jumper pipes during installation and testing is eliminated; instead a dual-purpose plug is supplied with the FAM that allows water flow through the line for flushing or system pressure testing.
  • Choice of solder joint and threaded connections.
Available Sizes
  • ¾" BSP
