High pressure valves

ACL's expanded range of high pressure solenoid valves for air or water comprise three models capable of controlling pressures of up to 150 bar.

These normally closed and normally open solenoid valves and incorporate a number of features designed to ensure long life, fast operating times and leak tight performance.

The normally closed model type 123 offer a very compact 90º valve body measuring only 60 x 48 x 40mm (excluding solenoid coil).  This valve uses a stainless steel piston with PTFE main seal, the piston is guided by two low friction graphite rings. Even though it possible to switch pressures up to 150 bar this valve requires a minimum differential pressure of just 0.7 bar.

The inline 124 version is also normally closed it offers 1/2”G (BSP) ports and is able to control pressures up 100 bar, the 124 uses a lightweight but durable piston produced in PBT, this reduces impact of the piston closing, again the piston is guided by graphite rings.

The type 224 is the normally open counterpart of the 124, it uses similar construction and operates up to 50 bar.
