800D Drain Valves
The 800D Series of direct acting dry-armature solenoid valve was originally designed by RPE to meet the requirements of manufacturers of floor cleaning machines and professional ice making equipment who both required a valve capable of giving a high flow rate from a the low pressure water supply provided by a water tank with a small head of water. With its large 12.75mm orifice the 800D series is ideal for these and many other low-pressure water control applications.
800D valves are available with two inlet styles: 16 mm hosetail or 3/4" male BSP thread, the threaded version supports the use of a standard plastic or steel mounting bracket.
There is also the option of supplying these valves with a vent on the outlet that allows water in an extended outlet tube to drain away cleanly.
To permit easy cleaning while in use the 800D uses a bayonet mount for the solenoid coil.
